The Signature Studio Bench is a refined version of my popular design introduced in 1997. Seat is slightly bowed along its front edge to invite the musician to “settle in” to his or her most comfortable playing position. An ergonomic triangle formed by the relationship between the performer, the instrument, and the musical transcription is essential for minimizing physical stress and promoting efficient technique. The stability offered by this seat lends confidence as well as comfort while you practice. Bench-top is hinged to provide access to the enclosed storage cache. Additional storage is supplied by the slatted shelf amidst the seat posts. The Signature model is crafted from "figured" cherry with black walnut highlights. Hand-rubbed oil finish. Robust seating designed for playing almost any instrument.
