Our music stands are made right here in Lewiston, Maine USA.  Solid hardwoods used throughout. You will never find veneers or pigmented finishes used in a Katahdin music stand.  If you want a cherry stand, you get solid cherry, not a lesser wood stained to look like cherry.  We use a handrubbed tung oil finish on all of our pieces.  Katahdin Music Stands are made to be used.  They solve problems... they encourage practice... and improve productivity...  and they are GORGEOUS.  One third of all of our orders are from repeat customers.  These stands sit in the music rooms of some of America's best known musicians.  It will be an honor for us to craft one especially for you.
